Most students show up to move-in day and spend their first week in a room that feels like a closet. The ones who planned ahead show up to a room that actually works; with space to breathe, space for a couch or desk, and space to have people over.

Buying or building your own loft risks a housing policy violation and bringing one from home means hauling it there and back. Every option that isn’t renting creates a problem you have to solve, usually on the most chaotic day of the year.

The College Products Loft Kit is our most popular lofting option, designed to work with the wooden or metal bed frame already in your residence hall. No disassembly of your current bed required. The kit raises your existing bed frame to loft height, freeing up 20 square feet of floor space below. If your hall uses standard residence hall bed frames, this is almost certainly the right product for your room.

• Order before August 1st and your Loft Kit is guaranteed to be delivered to your room before general move-in day.
• If you order after August 1st, but one week before our posted delivery date, your order will most likely be delivered before move-in day, but late orders are not guaranteed to be delivered before general move-in.
• Add assembly and your Loft Kit will be fully set up in your room before you arrive; no tools, no hassle, nothing to figure out on move-in day.
• Plans change. Add the Rental Refund Plan at checkout and if you need to cancel your rental for any reason, you get a prorated refund based on how much of the year is left. No hassle, no penalty.
• At the end of the year we will pick up your Loft Kit from your room. Loft Kits are expected to be disassembled before pickup. If you don’t want to disassemble it, disassembly is available for purchase. If disassembly is not purchased and the Loft Kit is not disassembled before pickup, a $50 fee will be charged.
